Yesterday night was a lot of fun. My friend Kim came over and we decided to go to Crocker Park (Hence the title). So when we got there (My sister was there to), we were like, "What should we do?"
Well, I don't know who came up with it, but we decided to go to Giant Eagle for no reason whatsoever. So we made the long trek from one of the parking garages. When we got in there, we had absoulutely no clue what to do. So, we just walked around. Then my sister spied the kids' toys, so naturally, we looked at them. And that is where we got what would make the rest of the night oodles of fun. She decided to buy a one of those toy things that have a fuzzy ball that you catch with some kind of paddle. Then we decided to loom at the movies to see what they had, not that we were going to buy them. Our goal was to find Meet the Robinsons. We did, but to trump it, we found a movie with that old cartoon turtle, Franklin. He rocks. After finishing up our time with the movies, we went to the automatic check out line, which, to be quite frank, is a total bi$%^. That voice just kept talking when we were clearly still looking at all the candy. And, seriously, every time it told us what to do, we yelled at it. And, just so we're clear, we did make it out of Giant Eagle with getting arrested or something.
The minute we got out of Giant Eagle we started playing with that game. And, for a while, we had good aim. Then we started to get worse (No clue why) and almost hit a bunch of cars. But we didn't stop playing, no sir-e (Is that the right way to do that?). We eventually ended up going to the Apple store, which was closed. But we just stared at the advertisment on the jumbo iPhone. Who needs a phone that big? I honestly don't know. But it's cool nonetheless.
After getting bored (Again), we started walking randomly around. We saw what appeared to be people breaking into Aeropostale. They had a key, so either they were closing it, or they were stupid. Who knows? Then as we were walking past Barnes & Nobles, there was a mob of teens throwing what looked like a hormone fest. Oh, and apparently they were stealing hats and causing a raucous. Cops got involved before we got there. Or so the family we were walking behind said.
After escaping from the mayhem, we started walking towards Chipotle, figuring it'd still be open. It is there where we restarted our game of catch. It was during this game that we noticed we were all alone. So I screamed, "WHERE IS EVERYBODY!!!" And it turns out all the people were right behind me and laughing at my comment. We almost hit another car at that time. Soon, we were almost to Chipotle (And almost involved in more car accidents because of that wretched ball). When we did make it there, it was about to close in four minutes. So we were like, "Screw this. We're going home!"
As it turns out, we were right next to the parking garage we parked in. So we slowly made our way to it (And for the zillionith time, almost hit a car). When we got in the car, i grabbed Kim's pink pompom and started waving it out the window like a maniac while we were singing whatever song was on the radio. We got so many strange looks. But it was fun. I seriously held my hand out her sun-roof for the enitre ride. And I did NOT let go of the pompom. So I feel very accomplished! And that was basically my night.
